**Exciting Opportunity for an RN - Med Surg ICU - Nights!**
**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Fort Smith, AR
- **Facility Department/Cost Center:** 30-406126
- **Role:** Registered Nurse (RN)
- **Specialty:** ICU / CVICU / Surgical / Neuro – Mixed Unit
- **Number of Openings:** 1
- **Shift:** Night
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Weekend Hours:** Every other weekend
- **Call Requirements:** No
**Required Certifications:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
**Experience:**
- 2+ years of nursing experience
**Float Requirements:**
- Med Surg and Stepdown
**Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 38
- **Patient Ratios:** 2/3: 1
- **Equipment:** CRRT is a plus, vents, hemodynamics
- **EMR:** EPIC
**Hiring Profile:**
- **Must Have Skills/Experience:**
- Mandatory medication and math competency test for direct patient care.
- Knowledge of drug actions and side effects, dosages, and IV problems required.
- Passing grade of 90% on the exam (one retake allowed).
- **Preferred Skillset/Experience:**
- CCRN/SCRN certification
- Open heart recovery experience
- CRRT experience
- **Type of Patients on Unit:**
- Mixed unit with most patients being medical
- Includes neuro surgery and CV surgery patients
