**Exciting Opportunity for RN - Med Surg ICU - Nights!**
**Job Description:**
- **Location:** 7301 Rogers Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72903
- **Floor:** 3rd Floor
- **Role:** Registered Nurse (RN)
- **Specialty:** ICU/CVICU/Surgical/Neuro – Mixed Unit (Most patients are medical)
- **Number of Openings:** 1
- **Shift:** Night
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Weekend Hours:** Every other weekend
- **Call Requirements:** No
**Required Certifications:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
**Experience:**
- Minimum 2+ years in an acute care setting
**Float Requirements:**
- Med Surg and Stepdown
**Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 38
- **Patient Ratios:** 2/3: 1
- **Equipment:** CRRT (preferred), vents, hemodynamics
- **EMR:** EPIC
**Must Have Skills/Experience:**
- Ensure patient safety by passing a medication and math competency test before administering medications
- Knowledge of commonly used drugs, their actions, side effects, and correct dosages
**Preferred Skillset/Experience:**
- CCRN/SCRN certification
- Experience in open heart recovery
- Proficiency with CRRT
