Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Telemetry - $2,095 per week in Salisbury, NC

You'll utilize advanced skills in cardiac monitoring, drip titration, and post-procedural care while being supported by an interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and dedicated team leads. This position offers experienced cardiac telemetry nurses the chance to work in a dynamic specialty unit serving as the primary cardiac and stroke center.

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Cardiac Telemetry – North Carolina

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Salisbury, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 36 hours per week. Every other weekend required, plus 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays in a 6-week period. Float and call requirements based on patient census.

Highlights:

• Primary cardiac and stroke telemetry unit with high acuity and fast-paced environment
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 with pre/post cardiac catheterization, pacemaker implantation, ICD procedures, and stroke care
• Manage and titrate cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone
• Epic charting system with 36-hour orientation program and team lead support for admissions/discharges
• Contract length up to 20+ weeks through February 27, 2027
• Unit turns over 78-90 patients per week requiring strong time management and critical thinking skills

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience with similar ratios and acuity
• Current RN license (NC or Compact state)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficient in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Experience with pre/post cardiac procedures, PCI, TR bands, and cardiac interventions
• Must pass EKG competency testing prior to start date
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Comfortable managing 6-patient assignments in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
