Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact license in hand
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including telemetry experience
• BLS and NIHSS required
• ACLS preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong experience caring for adult cardiac and progressive care patients
• Ability to provide a supervisory reference from within the last year
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and rotating schedule requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cardiac nursing care to adults with complex cardiac and medical conditions
• Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in rhythm, stability, and patient status
• Care for patients recovering from cardiac procedures and diagnostic interventions
• Administer medications and manage therapies in accordance with unit protocols
• Support patients with conditions such as heart failure, NSTEMI, respiratory failure, sepsis, CVA, and arrhythmias
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and promote a safe, efficient, and supportive care environment
