Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / Electrophysiology (EP) Lab

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Hours between 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a high-volume invasive cardiology unit performing over 6,000 procedures per year across dedicated Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology labs
- Support advanced cardiovascular procedures including complex coronary interventions, structural heart procedures (TAVR, LAAO, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping), and ventricular assist device (VAD)/ECMO cases
- Assist with complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implant and explant, cardioversion, peripheral intervention, and pulmonary embolectomy procedures
- Manage patient care across prep and recovery bays (23 total), ensuring readiness and safe discharge following invasive procedures
- Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
- Float to other areas as needed and be available to work 2 of 3 major holiday periods as required per contract terms
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania or a Compact state (no license encumbrances accepted)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required – AHA or ARC only
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Demonstrated competency in both EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab settings
- EPIC electronic health records experience required
- Must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for at the end of shift
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with structural heart procedures such as TAVR, LAAO, or mitral valve clipping
- Familiarity with VAD and ECMO support in a cath or EP lab environment
- Experience caring for patients who may be COVID-positive
- Strong proficiency with EPIC charting in a high-volume procedural setting
