Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / Electrophysiology (EP) Lab

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Hours between 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM | No weekends, no holidays | Floating as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume invasive cardiology unit performing over 6,000 procedures per year across dedicated Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology labs
- Support and assist with advanced cardiovascular procedures including complex coronary interventions, structural heart procedures (TAVR, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping, left atrial appendage occlusion), and VAD/ECMO
- Assist with electrophysiology procedures including complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implantation and explantation, and cardioversion
- Provide care in prep and recovery bays, monitoring patients before and after invasive procedures
- Demonstrate EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies throughout all aspects of patient care
- Float to other areas as needed and adhere to all facility policies including tobacco-free and fragrance-free requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania or a Compact state (no license encumbrances accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and/or EP Lab settings
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
- Demonstrated EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with peripheral intervention, pulmonary embolectomy, and pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation procedures
- Familiarity with structural heart programs and advanced cardiovascular treatment protocols
- Ability to complete required onboarding modules prior to start date
