Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab in Tucson, AZ

Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week | Days (shift start times vary between 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM) | On-call rotation required on weekends (approximately once every four to six weeks). Key Responsibilities

• Admit and evaluate patients, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans with thorough documentation
• Prepare patients for Cardiac Catheterization procedures, including pre-procedure charting, IV starts, and access preparation
• Prepare patients for bedside procedures including Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Cardioversions (CV)
• Recover post-procedure patients who received conscious sedation following Cath Lab procedures
• Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures including CV and TEE
• Discharge patients, including patient education, documentation, and physical discharge coordination

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or a compact state license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in PACU, ICU, Telemetry, Cath Lab, or Surgery Center settings (considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Experience with high-acuity, high-risk cardiac patient populations
• Familiarity with EP Lab or Cardiac Observation Unit workflows
