    Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

    Location

    Phoenix, AZ

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3 x 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM), Monday–Friday, plus call rotation

    Key Responsibilities
    • Circulate in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab performing 10–25 cases per day, including interventional, peripheral vascular, EP, mitral clip, TAVR, IABP, and EMTALA placements
    • Operate and work alongside Philips and Siemens imaging equipment; document using Cerner and Xper EMR systemsFunction within a hybrid lab environment covering both cardiac and vascular cases as needed
    • Participate in an on-call rotation of 6–10 shifts per 4-week schedule with a required 30-minute response time
    • Work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule and rotate into holiday coverage
    • Complete facility-required competency assessments including a Dysrhythmia Exam and Simulation Lab skills validation (Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
    • Demonstrated competency in sterile field technique, Foley catheter insertion, and central line dressing changes
    • Ability to pass a Dysrhythmia Exam (passing score of 80%; two attempts permitted) prior to contract start
    • Ability to pass a Day 1 pass/fail Simulation Lab assessment covering core nursing skills
    • Availability for on-call shifts with a 30-minute response time requirement
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a Level I or busy Level II Trauma Center
    • Familiarity with Philips telemetry systems and Siemens imaging equipment
    • Experience with advanced cardiac procedures including EP, TAVR, mitral clip, and IABP
