Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab during day shift hours
- Perform circulating and monitoring duties throughout cath lab procedures
- Scrub in on procedures as required by unit needs
- Precept new or onboarding staff as needed
- Float across multiple campus locations to like units as directed
- Fulfill holiday coverage requirements, including up to 1–2 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
Required Qualifications
- Active Iowa RN license or Compact/Multistate license at time of submission
- Minimum 24 months of current Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) experience
- Circulating and monitoring experience in the Cath Lab setting
- Trauma Level II experience
- BLS certification through AHA or ARC
- ACLS certification through AHA or ARC
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (verified by driver's license)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Structural heart experience
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Scrubbing experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Trauma Level I experience
