Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care within a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting during day shift hours
- Perform circulating and monitoring duties throughout cath lab procedures
- Precept staff as needed based on unit demand
- Float across multiple campus locations within the Des Moines area as required
- Participate in on-call rotations, including callback responsibilities as assigned
- Adhere to holiday coverage requirements, including working 1–2 of the designated summer holidays unless the unit is closed
Required Qualifications
- Active Iowa RN license or Compact/Multistate license at time of submission
- Minimum 24 months of current Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) experience
- Circulating and monitoring experience required
- Trauma Level II experience required
- BLS certification through AHA or ARC required
- ACLS certification through AHA or ARC required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver's license)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Structural heart experience highly preferred
- EP (Electrophysiology) experience highly preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Scrubbing experience preferred
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
