    Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 8-hour shifts with a 6:00–6:30 AM start time | On-call required (approximately 10–11 days per month, including one weekend per month)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Circulate cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization cases in a multi-room cath lab environment handling approximately 5–15 cases per day
    • Monitor cases using a GE MacLab/Combo Lab Hemodynamic Monitoring System; all staff are cross-trained to monitor
    • Support EP procedures including ICDs, pacemakers, and ablations (A-Flutter, SVT, A-Fib)
    • Float between two campus locations as needed
    • Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend call coverage
    • Complete a brief orientation period and be expected to independently circulate cases within the first week
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact eligibility)
    • Prior Cardiac Cath Lab experience with the ability to independently circulate cases
    • Experience with hemodynamic monitoring systems
    • Ability to work an on-call schedule, including weekends

    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with EP procedures such as ICD implantation, pacemakers, and cardiac ablations
    • Familiarity with GE MacLab or comparable hemodynamic monitoring platforms
    • Experience with peripheral and neuro cath lab cases
    • Travel nursing background with demonstrated ability to acclimate quickly to a new unit
