Contract | Days | 8-hour shifts with 0600/0630 start time | Onsite | Call required (approximately 10–11 days per month, including 1 weekend per month)
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate cardiac cath lab cases; ability to circulate cases independently is required
- Monitor cases using a GE MacLab/Combo Lab Hemodynamic Monitoring System; all staff are cross-trained to monitor
- Provide patient care for cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization cases
- Support EP procedures including ICDs, pacemakers, and ablations (A-Flutter, SVT, A-Fib)
- Float between two campuses (Bryan and College Station) as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend call coverage
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior Cardiac Cath Lab experience with the ability to circulate cases independently
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring systems
- Ability to work on-call as required by the department schedule
- Must be able to function independently within 3–4 days of unit orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EP procedures including ablations, ICD placements, and pacemakers
- Familiarity with GE MacLab or similar hemodynamic monitoring platforms
- Experience with peripheral and neuro cath lab cases
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
