Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,815 per week in Charleston, WV

Job Opportunity – Cath Lab RN – West Virginia

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with on-call requirements. Daily caseload of 8-10 cases. Call requirements include 2-3 weekday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM (second call) and approximately one weekend every 4-5 weeks (Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM, rotating first and second call every 12 hours). 2-hour call-back minimum. 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Highlights:

• Work in a 838-bed Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital affiliated with the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH)
• Comprehensive Cath Lab experience with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including structural heart cases
• Cerner charting system with 16 hours of orientation provided
• Responsibilities include circulating in the lab, moderate sedation, assessments, medications, and pre/post-op care
• Minimal floating required; will remain primarily in Cath Lab to meet facility needs
• Free parking provided for travelers and scrubs supplied

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience with competency in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including structural heart
• Active West Virginia or Compact State RN License (pending license accepted for submission, but active WV license required by start date)
• ARRT registration required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Must reside 100 miles or more from facility (75-99 miles considered on case-by-case basis)
• Two Manager or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Prior charge experience preferred
