**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Acute Travel RN - PCU
- **Location:** Johnstown, PA
- **Unit Profile:**
- Specialty: TELE/PCU - Cardiac
- Trauma Level: 1
- Patient Population: Cardiac geriatric
- Equipment: Pacer Alines
- EHR: EPIC
- **Position Information:**
- Role: RN
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend (depends on staffing needs)
- Call Requirements: None
- Required Certifications: BLS
- Years of Experience: 2+ years preferred (will provide PCA class if interested)
- Float Requirements: Typically not floated; may float to 1:1s as needed
- **Patient Ratios:**
- RN: 1:5
- NA: 10-12 (days), 20-22 (nights)
- **Must Have Skills/Experience:**
- Cardiac Cath experience is essential
- Common Diagnosis/Treatment: CP, MI, Open Heart, Watchmen, TAVR, Postop cardiac cath, post-op pacer
- Personality Fit: Positive attitude and team player
- **Required Education:**
- RN license
- BLS certification
- **Dress Code:**
- Scrub Color: Any
- Unacceptable Attire: No hoodies
- Piercings: Only nose studs allowed
