**Join Our Exciting Healthcare Team as an Acute Travel RN: PCU!**
**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Johnstown, PA
- **Facility:** Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, a Duke LifePoint Hospital
- **Specialty:** Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- **Position Type:** Travel RN
- **Shift Requirements:** Must be willing to work all shifts: Days, Nights, and Mids
- **Experience Required:**
- Cardiac Cath experience is a must
- 2+ years of nursing experience preferred
**What You’ll Do:**
- Provide exceptional care to cardiac patients, including those with:
- Chest Pain (CP)
- Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- Open Heart Surgery
- Watchman Procedures
- TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
- Post-op cardiac catheterization
- Post-operative pacemaker insertion
- Collaborate with a dedicated medical team in a technologically advanced environment
- Utilize the EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to document patient care
- Maintain a patient ratio of RN 1:5, NA 10-12 (days) and 20-22 (nights)
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and provide patient education
- Participate in weekly orientation, starting on Mondays
- Work effectively within a supportive healthcare team
**Qualifications:**
- Valid RN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be able to pass all required background screenings
**Unit Information:**
- Trauma Level: 1
- Patient Population: Cardiac Geriatric
- Staffing Requirements: Every other weekend availability based on unit needs
- Supervisor: Lisa Dean
**Dress Code:**
- Scrub Color: Any
- Unacceptable Attire: No hoodies; only nose studs are permitted as body piercings
