Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Specialist position in Olympia, WA. This role involves working within a busy cardiac cath lab environment, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, with a focus on delivering quality patient care during day shifts. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to established clinical protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour days, from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM, with a self-scheduling cycle and minor adjustments to fill scheduling gaps.
- Required Qualifications: Valid State License; Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or RCIS) or Registered Nurse (RN) with current BLS and ACLS certifications; minimum of 2+ years of experience in Cath Lab, with experience in both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology preferred; experience reading/interpretation of EKGs, circulating, sedating, transporting patients, with additional skills in patient monitoring and case support.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with support equipment such as Manifold; ability to scrub and pan simultaneously; familiarity with EMR systems including EPIC; experience with hemodynamic monitoring and various catheter-based procedures.
- Support within the Department: Case scheduling by a charge nurse or lead technician; case support from support staff; on-call rotation with 1-2 shifts during weekdays and 1 weekend per month, responding within 30 minutes; holiday call responsibilities.
- Other information: Orientation includes facility and unit familiarization; IR experience applicants will receive approximately 1 week of orientation, others a few weeks; scrubs provided with extended sizing available; parking is free.
