Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cath Lab diagnostic and intervention procedures, including structural heart programs. This position requires a commitment to patient care in a high-paced environment.

Schedule

  • Shift: 4x10 hours (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
  • On-call: Required (2-3 weekday nights and approximately one weekend every 4-5 weeks)
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing catheterization procedures.
  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and health status during procedures.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner charting system.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting, demonstrating competence in all aspects of procedures.
  • Active West Virginia nursing license required; pending licenses may be accepted with the condition of having the active license before starting.
  • ARRT registration is mandatory.

Additional Information

  • No floating; the clinician will primarily remain in the Cath Lab.
  • Parking is provided at no cost for travelers.
  • Scrub colors will be provided.
  • This facility is a Level IV trauma center and a major teaching hospital.
