Job Summary:
Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical Skilled Nurse in Alaska. This position involves providing clinical services within the urgent care department of a healthcare facility, supporting patients and clinical staff in an ambulatory care setting. The role emphasizes maintaining skill sets, participating in mandatory training, adhering to infection control policies, and ensuring efficient clinic operations.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska. Active Alaska license at time of submittal. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of urgent care experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of nursing processes, customer service principles, safety and infection control practices. Skills in assessments, specimen collection, equipment use, and effective communication. Ability to multi-task, work independently in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with team members.
