Travel Nurse RN - Ambulatory Care - $2,162 per week in Seattle, WA

The RN will manage MyChart messages, answer direct patient calls, cover the RN triage line, and make post-op calls. Each RN works in conjunction with a physician to deliver all clinical care to patients.

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year in ambulatory nursing care License: Valid state compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: 1 year of experience in outpatient clinic settings Experience with rooming patients and performing vital sign checks Ability to assist with minor office procedures and examinations Experience in telephone triage and medication refills Description: This is a clinical nursing position, Monday through Friday, with no weekends, call, or holidays. Job duties include rooming patients and taking vitals. You will conduct telephone triage, medication refills, and FMLA support. You will assist with authorization for imaging and schedule colonoscopies as well as office visits. Responsibilities also include high-level disinfection and stocking exam rooms. You will provide patient education and assist the colorectal surgery team in procedures. Each RN works in conjunction with a physician to deliver all clinical care to patients. The RN will manage MyChart messages, answer direct patient calls, cover the RN triage line, and make post-op calls. You will provide surgery teaching and guidance to medical assistant staff. This role includes floating between designated clinic locations as needed. The position has the potential to become temp-to-hire.
