Description:
ICU Registered Nurse – Day/Night Variable ScheduleShift Details
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3x12-hour shifts, variable schedule as needed
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required
- 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period
- Full-time days, nights, and weekends
- All contracts must run into February — no exceptions
Licensure
- Currently licensed by NYS as a Registered Professional Nurse
Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA/RQI only)
- ACLS (AHA/RQI only)
- PALS (AHA/RQI only)
- NIHSS
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the RQI system during clinical orientation
- Basic Coronary Care certification required within 6 months of hire
- CPI certification required within 90 days of hire
Preferred Certifications
- Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association recommended within 2 years of hire
- TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire
