    Nuclear Medicine Technologist

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment | On-call required: one weekday per week (4:30 PM–10:00 PM) and one weekend per month (Saturday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–10:00 PM); one holiday on-call may be expected over the course of the contract

    Key Responsibilities
    • Float between Nuclear Medicine and PET departments as needed to support direct and indirect patient care
    • Perform approximately 10+ Nuclear Medicine procedures and 12–14 PET/CT scans per day
    • Conduct top procedures including whole-body bone scans, lung scans, gastric emptying, renal scans, HIDA scans, thyroid uptake and scan, thyroid whole-body scans, DaTscan brain scans, lymphoscintigraphy, parathyroid scans, FDG PET, and specialty PET
    • Operate GE and Siemens imaging equipment
    • Perform indirect patient care duties such as patient reminder calls
    • Respond to on-call needs for HIDA, GI bleed, brain death, and lung studies as required
    Required Qualifications
    • Active ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required
    • Minimum 3–5+ years of Nuclear Medicine experience
    • Proficiency in both General Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging required
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with GE and/or Siemens nuclear medicine and PET/CT equipment
    • Familiarity with a high-volume, fast-paced imaging environment
    • Experience performing specialty PET studies
