License: Current registration in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT (NM)). Current Radiologic Technologist License. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR. Must-Have: Requires a Bachelor of Science in a scientific field with a certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited academic program or an associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Description: The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekends and major holidays are not required. Experience in Molecular/Nuclear Imaging is preferred, including SPECT/CT/PET/MR/Optical fusion Imaging. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology is essential. Analytical skills are necessary to effectively utilize knowledge towards imaging processes, techniques, and procedures. A working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine Information Systems, Radiology Information Systems, and Client Information Systems is required. Ability to rely on experience, judgment, and time management skills to plan and accomplish goals is necessary. A positive, team-oriented attitude and professional appearance are expected. Adherence to safety standards set forth by relevant regulatory agencies is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with patients and other staff. Ability to instruct students and engage with fellow technologists is a vital aspect of the role.
