Description

Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 hours Hours per Shift: 8 am - 4:30 pm or 8:30 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday Experience: Requires a Bachelor of Science in a scientific field with a certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited academic program or an associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited academic program plus 2 years of experience by date of hire. License: Current registration in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT (NM)) required. Current state Radiologic Technologist License required. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR required. Must-Have: Must be certified upon hire (or within the first year of hire) and remain current in at least one of the following advanced certifications: NMTCB(PET), NMTCB(NCT), ARRT(CT), ARRT(MR). Description: AM shift position for 8-hour days from Monday to Friday. No weekends or major holidays. Experience in Molecular/Nuclear Imaging preferred, including SPECT/CT/PET/MR/Optical fusion imaging. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology required. Ability to effectively utilize knowledge towards imaging processes, techniques, and procedures. Working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine Information Systems, Radiology Information Systems, and Client Information Systems. Demonstrated ability to rely on experience, judgment, and time management skills to plan and accomplish goals. Must present a positive, team-oriented attitude and maintain a professional appearance. Ability to adhere to safety standards set forth by the department and other regulatory agencies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, instruct students, and collaborate with other technologists.
