Description

American Traveler is hiring a dual-licensed Nuclear Medicine/PET-CT Technologist with at least 1 year of PET/CT experience for a day shift assignment.

Details

  • Nuclear Medicine department performing PET/CT and CT diagnostic imaging with contrast
  • Adult patient population in a clinic setting
  • 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with varied start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM
  • No call or weekend requirements
  • May float within scope to sister facilities including Westwood, Santa Monica, Encino, and Santa Clarita as needed
  • Uses Siemens equipment
  • Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience required, with PET/CT experience preferred
  • CNMT certification required
  • ARRT CT/NMTCB (CT), ARRT N, NMTCB, PET, and State Licensed (Xray) certifications preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • Dual license in Nuclear Medicine and CT and/or Xray critical for this role
  • Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, starting and maintaining IVs, and storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials
  • Experience performing PET scan procedures

Additional Information

  • Perform diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic treatment using radioactive materials and X-rays under the direction of a licensed authorized user
  • Provide support across multiple sites according to business needs as requested by the chief technologist
  • Royal blue scrubs required
  • At least one previous travel assignment required
  • Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
  • Recommended to keep RTO under 7 days per assignment when possible
