• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850 - $1,950
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Floating: May be asked to float to nearby campuses and to Pediatrics/PICU for newborn and infant care as needed

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Compact license must be in hand at submission
• Minimum of 3 years of NICU nursing experience required
• Level III or Level IV NICU experience required
• BLS and NRP certification required
• Epic experience preferred
• Experience caring for neonates and infants, including very premature patients, preferred
• Strong comfort level with high-acuity neonatal equipment and interventions
• Ability to adapt quickly, collaborate effectively, and float when needed

NICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for critically ill neonates and infants in a busy neonatal intensive care unit
• Monitor and support patients on CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency ventilation, oscillators, and conventional vents
• Administer blood and blood products and manage central lines, PICC lines, feeding tubes, and syringe pumps
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and support neonatal surgical care
• Deliver compassionate, family-centered care while maintaining patient safety and clinical excellence
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support complex neonatal needs
• Float to other assigned areas or nearby campuses when required, including infant-focused care settings
