Travel NICU Registered Nurse – Night Shift in Columbus, Ohio

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license in hand
• BLS and NRP required
• Minimum of 2 years of total Level III/IV NICU experience
• At least 1 year of recent Level IV NICU experience
• Experience with high-acuity neonatal care and critical care float environments
• Ability to provide 2 professional references at submission, including at least one manager or supervisor
• Willingness to float as assigned and comply with unit expectations
• No local candidates within a 60-mile radius
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to neonates with complex medical and surgical needs
• Support BPD NICU patients with frequent trach care and significant family involvement
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and advanced neonatal interventions
• Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilator support, CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, IV therapies, and specialized respiratory care
• Care for infants with diagnoses such as NEC, sepsis, respiratory distress syndrome, and congenital conditions
• Perform NICU procedures and support central line, UVC/UAC, chest tube, and enteral feeding management
• Float to PICU, CV PICU, stepdown, med-surg, and other approved units when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
