  • Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Schedule: 3 shifts per week; self-scheduling
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
  • Orientation: 16 hours
  • Openings: 4 travel nurse positions
  • Weekend Coverage: At most every other weekend
  • Charting System: Epic electronic health record (EHR)

Job Requirements

  • Current Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand
  • BLS and NRP required
  • At least 2 years of total Level III/IV NICU experience
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Level IV NICU experience
  • Experience caring for high-acuity neonatal patients and using advanced NICU equipment
  • Comfort working in a float pool environment with flexible assignments
  • Strong communication skills and readiness to provide 2 professional references, including at least one supervisor or manager
  • PALS is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, high-acuity care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients in a NICU setting
  • Support patients with complex respiratory, cardiac, and developmental needs
  • Administer medications, blood products, and specialized neonatal treatments
  • Manage and monitor ventilators, CPAP, HFNC, tracheostomy care, and other advanced neonatal therapies
  • Perform assessments, interpret clinical changes, and respond quickly to evolving patient needs
  • Assist with high-risk deliveries and specialized NICU procedures as needed
  • Float to related critical care and stepdown units when assigned, including PICU, CV PICU, Med-Surg, and other appropriate areas
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and collaborate closely with the care team
  • Provide family-centered support in a highly engaged neonatal environment
