• Schedule: Self-scheduling with flexibility to float as needed
• Weekend Coverage: Up to every other weekend
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Time Off: Up to 2 pre-approved days

Job Requirements

• Current Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand
• BLS and NRP required
• Minimum 2 years total Level III/IV NICU experience required
• At least 1 year of recent Level IV NICU experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to provide 2 professional references at submission, including at least 1 manager or supervisor reference
• Flexibility to float to other critical care or med-surg units as needed
• Strong neonatal assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Comfort working with high-acuity infants and families in a collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients in the NICU
• Provide support for complex neonatal conditions, including respiratory support, feedings, thermoregulation, and medication administration
• Care for patients requiring advanced interventions such as central lines, ventilators, CPAP, HFNC, chest tubes, and tracheostomy support
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and specialized newborn care as assigned
• Float appropriately to PICU, CV PICU, stepdown, Med/Surg, and other critical care areas based on unit needs
• Support BPD NICU patients with long-term needs, including frequent trach care and family-centered communication
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain safe, efficient, and compassionate care standards
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to promote positive patient outcomes
