Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand
• BLS and NRP required; PALS required per facility expectations
• Minimum 2 years of total Level III/IV NICU nursing experience
• At least 1 year of recent Level IV NICU experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Comfortable floating to other critical care and med-surg areas as needed
• Two professional references required at submission, including one manager or supervisor reference
• Experience with complex neonatal care, including trach care and high parent involvement, is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and expert nursing care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients
• Manage high-acuity NICU patients with complex respiratory, developmental, and medical needs
• Perform and support treatments such as ventilator management, IV therapy, feeding support, thermoregulation, and tracheostomy care
• Monitor patient status closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Float to other critical care and med-surg units when assigned, maintaining flexibility and a team-first mindset
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Support families through patient education, communication, and compassionate bedside care
