Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position at a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma center requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience.

Details

Medical Surgical unit with general and overflow oncology patient population
Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Deferred schedule type with 4 weekend shifts required per month
Block scheduling is not approved for most units
EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

Active RN license (GA or Compact)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical specialty
Proven experience in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments
Experience managing critical, fast-paced situations required
Background in high-volume hospitals with diverse and severe cases required
Experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals not accepted
Current certification card required for consideration

Additional Information

Work within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and challenging cases
No RTO permitted during contract
Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
