• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Start Date: 10/26/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry within the last 3 years
• Experience starting IVs required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Epic charting experience required
• Telemetry competency required; traveler must pass a telemetry exam prior to start
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, days, holidays, and weekends as scheduled
• Comfort caring for adult and geriatric med/surg patients with a variety of diagnoses

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Start and maintain IV access and support a variety of common nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments per plan of care and unit standards
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and other interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
• Support a safe, respectful environment while caring for a diverse patient population
• Float as needed within scope and assignment expectations
