Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience in Med/Surg Telemetry within the last 3 years
• BLS certification from AHA
• Telemetry experience with successful completion of pre-start telemetry testing
• Experience starting and maintaining IVs
• Epic charting experience required
• Comfort working with adult and geriatric med/surg patients
• Ability to float to other units as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
• Start and maintain IV access and support common medical-surgical interventions
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to clinical standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Document care accurately in Epic and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Care for a varied patient population, including patients with complex medical needs
• Float to other appropriate units as needed while maintaining flexibility and professionalism
• Support a patient-centered environment with attention to safety, quality, and teamwork
