• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Pattern: Day/Night rotating schedule with every other weekend coverage and holidays as needed
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling
• Floating: Required as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient acute care experience in Med/Surg Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, or a closely related specialty
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience starting and maintaining IVs required
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start
• Strong rhythm interpretation skills and comfort caring for telemetry patients
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations preferred
• Willingness to care for complex med/surg patients in a structured acute care hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate bedside care for adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry data and respond appropriately to rhythm changes
• Perform routine nursing assessments, medication administration, and care coordination
• Start and maintain IV access and support common acute care interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, respiratory services, pharmacy, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Care for patients with a wide range of medical-surgical diagnoses
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Adapt to rotating shifts and provide flexible support through weekend and holiday coverage
• Float when needed to support patient care needs across the unit
• Deliver respectful, high-quality care in a fast-paced, team-oriented acute care environment
