Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Neuro ICU night shift assignment requiring 2+ years Neuro ICU or comprehensive stroke center experience and an OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Fast-paced Neuro ICU treating neurological diseases and disorders including seizures and strokes within a comprehensive stroke center
• Also treats overflow ICU patients from Medical Surgical ICU and Heart and Vascular ICU
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:30
• Required to work every other weekend and holiday
• Traveler will be first to float at facility discretion, including floating between Main Campus (Dayton), South Campus (Centerville), and North Campus (Englewood)
• Will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (RN)
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience and/or 2 years of comprehensive stroke center experience in a large hospital with some neuro experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract
• Facility reserves the right to cancel the agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine
• Travelers are not eligible for facility employee incentives
• RTO must be requested with initial submittal; no RTO will be added after the offer, and approval is at the manager's discretion
• Local candidates are not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
