Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro ICU | Travel | Location Not Provided

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neuro ICU. The ideal candidate will have experience with acute care settings and a strong ability to manage patients with complex neurological conditions. Experience with monitoring and adjusting care plans in high-acuity scenarios is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Care for patients with conditions such as ventriculostomies and strokes, with or without TPA
  • Conduct acute stroke management and post-craniectomy care
  • Titrate drips and follow physician orders
  • Troubleshoot and manage ventilator and RT equipment
  • Read and interpret telemetry strips using Phillips monitors
  • Work varied schedules including every other weekend and rotating holidays

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active IL license or confirmation of application initiation
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
  • Experience with ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, and NIH Stroke Scale Certification
  • Ability to work in an acute care setting
