Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring 2 years of experience and NIHSS certification.

Details

Neuro ICU unit with 18 beds
Patient ratios of 1:2, flexing up or down based on acuity
12-hour shifts, 7P-7A schedule, 36 hours per week
Every other weekend requirement
May float to Neuro IMC unit
Uses Epic EMR
Floor orientation consists of 2 shifts, with additional shifts if needed

Requirements

Active VA or compact RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIHSS certification required
CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required

Additional Information

Holiday coverage required for 1 major and 1 minor holiday, on an every-other-holiday rotation
