Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring 2 years of experience and current NIHSS certification.

Details

Neuro ICU unit with 18 beds
1:2 patient ratios, adjustable based on acuity
Uses Epic EMR
12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a
Every other weekend required
May float to the Neuro IMC unit

Requirements

Active VA or compact RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIHSS certification required
CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required

Additional Information

Holiday coverage required for every other holiday, including 1 major and 1 minor holiday
Floor orientation consists of 2 shifts, with additional shifts available if needed
