Job Requirements

• Active RN license required
• 1-2 years of recent acute care nursing experience required
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Previous ICU nursing or high-acuity critical care experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• Must be prepared to float within a 25-mile radius as needed
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond quickly to clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery
• Document nursing care accurately using the facility EHR system
• Maintain a calm, professional presence in a fast-paced critical care setting
• Support unit workflow and assist with floating assignments when required
