Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Neuro ICU, you'll provide critical care to patients with neurological conditions. This role involves monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and collaborating with a team of specialists. You'll work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, enjoying the balance of dedicated care and personal time. Your expertise in neuro nursing will be essential, and you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact in patients' recovery.

• Travel Experience Required: Yes.
• LTAC Experience: -
• Previous Charge Experience: 2 years.
• State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal.
• MinExperienceRequired: 2 years.
• Community Hospital Experience: Preferred.
• Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Skills: Blood Product Administration, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drain (EVD), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Lumbar drains, Management of dysrhythmias, Neuro Intensive Care Unit*, Post Craniotomy, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury.
• Charting System Experience: Required; Charting System Name: Epic.
• Trauma Level II Experience: Preferred.
• Patient Ratio Experience: 2.
