Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Ability to provide 2 professional references, including at least 1 manager, director, or supervisor reference
• Must be comfortable with credentialing and compliance timelines, including fingerprinting requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a critical care float pool environment
• Float to various ICU settings as needed, including medical, surgical, neuro, CVICU, and cardiology-focused units
• Monitor and manage complex patient conditions, including ventilator support and hemodynamic instability
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and respond to changing patient acuity
• Perform advanced assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Document care accurately in Epic
• Support patient safety, infection prevention, and efficient unit flow
• Adapt quickly to different critical care environments while maintaining excellent clinical standards
