You will care for adult patients with stroke, seizure, neuromuscular, traumatic brain injury, and post-operative neurosurgical conditions while gaining specialized neurocritical care experience.

Job Requirements

• 2 years of ICU or neurocritical care experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Valid compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with ventilators, telemetry, IV starts, and intracranial pressure monitoring
• Epic experience preferred
• Ability to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult Neuro ICU patients with complex neurological and post-operative needs
• Monitor and manage mechanically ventilated patients, invasive lines, and intracranial pressure monitoring devices
• Support care for stroke, seizure, traumatic brain injury, and neurosurgical patients
• Perform bedside procedures and assist with advanced interventions as appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate documentation and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Float within equivalent or lower-acuity units based on staffing needs
