Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical ICU experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from AHA
• Strong ventilator management and telemetry monitoring skills
• Proficiency with IV starts and critical care nursing procedures
• Experience caring for critically ill adults with multisystem organ failure
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity ICU environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a high-acuity MICU setting
• Monitor and manage patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, DKA, renal failure, liver failure, and post-cardiac arrest conditions
• Interpret dysrhythmias and support telemetry monitoring
• Care for ventilated patients and coordinate complex critical care interventions
• Perform continuous glucose monitoring and support IV infusion therapies
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and other clinical support services
• Adapt to changing unit needs and assist with floating assignments as required
