Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccine compliance, with exemptions only as permitted
• All required credentials must be active and in hand at time of submission

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform clinical assessments, administer medications, and document patient care accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Provide care for a patient population that may include float assignments to similar units as needed
• Support a rotating schedule and adapt to operational needs of the nursing unit
• Maintain compliance with facility onboarding, testing, and competency requirements
