• Schedule: Day and evening coverage with weekend and holiday rotation based on operational need
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Floating: Required as needed to other units
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Epic charting experience required
• Telemetry RN experience and successful completion of a telemetry test prior to start
• Strong Med/Surg and MS/Tele clinical skills, including dysrhythmia interpretation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative inpatient hospital environment
• Comfortable floating to other units as needed based on patient care demands

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and manage common therapies, including insulin, heparin, and PCA
• Support post-operative and medically complex patients with a variety of diagnoses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated, evidence-based care
• Perform interventions such as IV management, wound care, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team environment
• Float to other hospital units as needed to support patient care delivery
