Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring recent acute care experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 1900-0730
Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need
Floating required as needed
Cardiac monitoring and telemetry responsibilities on the unit
Utilizes Epic EMR system

Requirements

Active WI RN license or compact RN license required
BLS certification required (AHA only)
Minimum two years of acute care experience within the last three years in med/surg specialty
Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to starting, including identification of lethal rhythms and 3rd degree heart blocks
Epic charting experience required
Skills in IV therapy, phlebotomy, wound care, respiratory management, and cardiac monitoring

Additional Information

Provide direct patient care for med/surg and telemetry patients including rhythm interpretation and rapid response coordination
Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
First-time travelers will be considered if they have 3 years of recent inpatient med/surg experience

Located at a modern, newly built hospital and wellness center
