Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.
RN Med Surg / Telemetry (Oncology) | Columbus, OH | 16 Weeks
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital is seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a 16-week travel assignment. This oncology-focused unit cares for patients receiving chemotherapy, cancer treatment, symptom management, and continuous cardiac monitoring.
Shift:
• 3x12 Nights
• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 Guaranteed Hours
Pay:
• Up to $2,220/week
Requirements:
• Active RN License (Compact or State License)
• BLS
• Minimum 2 Years Recent Acute Care RN Experience
• Epic Experience Required
• Med Surg/Telemetry Experience Required
Preferred:
• Oncology Experience
• Previous Travel Experience
Skills Required:
• Telemetry Monitoring
• Dysrhythmia Interpretation
• Port Access & Management
• Blood Product Administration
• Central Line & PICC Line Care
• IV Starts
• Arterial Line Management
• HFNC (High Flow Nasal Cannula)
• Tracheostomy Care
• Chest Tube Management

• Breast Cancer
• Lung Cancer
• Prostate Cancer
• Pancreatic Cancer
• Colon Cancer
• Esophageal Cancer
• Sickle Cell Crisis
• Chemotherapy Patients

• 1:4 Nurse-to-Patient Ratio
• GE Telemetry System
• Alaris Pumps
• Bladder Scanner
• Epic EMR
Additional Details:
• Float to Other Med Surg Oncology Units
• Oncology Experience Preferred but Not Required
• Ohio Fingerprinting Required
• RTO Must Be Included With Submission
• 72 Hours Orientation
