Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am
• 18-week assignment providing winter coverage, with 13-week assignments also considered

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent MS/Tele experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, director, or Charge RN in the specialty applying for, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Certifications must be active and in hand at time of consideration, pending certifications not accepted

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with up to two attempts to pass
• PBDS assessment waived
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Background check hits are reviewed by the facility, but open cases will not be accepted
• No license hits accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers are not being considered for this position
