Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Assignment offers winter coverage with 18-week or 13-week contract length options accepted

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license required in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be active at time of consideration
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent MS/Tele experience required, preferably within the last 3 years
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, director, or Charge RN in the MS/Tele specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation, with up to two attempts allowed to pass
• Holiday coverage required for every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Background check hits of any kind will be reviewed, but candidates with an open case will not be accepted
• Any hits on professional license will not be accepted
