Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med-Surg Telemetry experience required
• 12 months of permanent Med-Surg Tele experience preferred for submission
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Completion of required compliance and onboarding steps prior to start
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assess patients, administer medications, and carry out physician orders
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document nursing care accurately and maintain strong clinical communication throughout the shift
• Deliver excellent bedside nursing care in a busy, team-oriented hospital environment
