Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of combined Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• 12 months of permanent specialty experience preferred/required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Must be able to complete required pre-start compliance and onboarding steps on schedule

Med-Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care as a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and document care accurately and on time
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Prioritize care for multiple patients in a fast-paced acute-care environment
• Support safe, efficient, and patient-centered nursing care throughout each shift
